Alice, affectionately known as Alla by her friends and close family, was born on the 11th of August 1893, in an English manor house in England’s countryside. To a wealthy family with a long family history. She excelled in school when she was younger.

She was exceptionally close with her mother Adeline Archambeau, Who was born during the reign of Napoleon III in 1865, her mothers family were members of the prestigious court of the second empire, but with the outbreak of the Franco Prussian war her family fled to England to never return until years, that’s where she met the rather dashing young man Water Laurent, who was born in England to a wealthy family. The two fell in love and had Alice hatter a long line of other children.

With the outbreak of the 1st world war, Alice was greatly moved by the war where she heard so many stories of horror, and even her close friends never returning from the front, this is when she decided to Join the British Red Cross.
