Biography:

Mr. Jack Hargreaves was a Liverpool born Sailor who joined the Royal Navy Reserve in 1882, he picked up from his father who was a former merchant/seaman. The RNR made him an even better Sailor. In 1889 he joined the White Star Line, working as a deckhand aboard the RMS Teutonic. Throughout the next 20 years he moved from ship to ship, and in 1916 he was assigned to the Hospital Ship Britannic, during the Great War.
